Request for Information issued for AHRQ's CDS Connect Following Successful Challenge Competition

A Request for Information (RFI) has been issued to call for ideas and identify possible collaborators for creating a new sustainment model (such as a Public Private Partnership [PPP] between AHRQ and a third-party organization) that ensures CDS Connect's future operations. This RFI follows on AHRQ’s successful challenge competition designed to solicit ideas on advancing the functionality, value and accessibility of AHRQ's CDS Connect platform. For more information and details on responding to the RFI, please see here.

In 2016, AHRQ launched a program of grants and contracts aimed at helping health care providers move patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) evidence into practice through clinical decision support (CDS). AHRQ advances the science of CDS by supporting implementers, clinicians, and technology vendors in developing CDS tools that are shareable, standards-based, publicly-available, and patient-centered. These components are detailed below.

Beyond these efforts, AHRQ continues to fund grants focused on advancing evidence into practice.  Grant funding is available for digital healthcare research and other priority areas, including clinical decision support. Please visit https://www.ahrq.gov/funding/fund-opps/index.html  for information on those opportunities.
