The intent of the “Hypoglycemia order set ” is to facilitate next steps in response to occurrence of a hypoglycemic event, or presence of risk factors for hypoglycemia, by presenting orders for medications, supplies, laboratory tests, point of care tests, consults and referrals, and patient and caregiver education.
